The processability of metal stamping parts refers to the difficulty of parts in stamping, bending and wire drawing. A good process should ensure less material consumption, fewer processes, simple mold structure, high service life and stable product quality. Generally speaking, the most important factors affecting the machinability of metal stamping parts are the material performance, geometric shape, size and precision requirements of parts. The main factors causing the dimensional error of metal stamping parts are
1. Manufacturing accuracy of punch and die.
2. Clearance between male and female dies.
3. Elastic recovery of materials after stamping.
4. Unexpected factors in the production process, such as inaccurate positioning, unstable material performance, etc.
The dimensional accuracy of metal stamping parts can generally be divided into two categories: precision level and general level. Precision level refers to the precision that can be achieved technically by stamping process, while ordinary level refers to the precision that can be achieved by relatively economic means. When the mold manufacturing accuracy is high, the dimensional accuracy of the metal stamping parts can reach ITl0, and the inner hole size can reach IT9.
The surface quality of metal stamping parts should not be higher than the surface quality of raw materials, otherwise it needs to increase the subsequent processing to achieve, which increases the production cost.
